I've been trying different forums.Well..................their mean LOL! .You ask a question and dont get any answers.I love louisiana forum i'm sorry for leaving my family for a couple of days.I just seen BMI over 50 and getting sleeve.So I thought well maybe these are the ppl i should be talking to WRONG no support what so ever.I'm back and wont be leaving again.

@Thickgirls like Sherri said find your happy place girl.We know you need this surgery and we are all praying for you.

just need to see a cardiologist. Tachycardia is one of the comorbities of obesity, I was diagnosed 2 yrs ago, and was put on torpol xl................ now my pulse is 58. Your going to have a chemical stress test?? I had one a few months ago, because of my weight I had to have a 2 day stress test, with IV and everything!! I knew I would need clearance for Dr. Bellows to do gastric sleeve from a cardiologist. Good luck!! Now I am just waiting for my letter of approval.

MY APPOINTMENT WENT GREAT... THE SURGEON'S NAME IS DR. CHARLES BELLOWS...TULANE NEW ORLEANS LA...HE ACCEPTS MEDICAID FOR THE SURGERY...I JUST GOT BACK FROM MY NUTRITIONIST APPOINTMENT...ITS A VERY SLOW PROCESS, BUT WILL DEFINITELY BE WORTH THE WEIGHT...(LOL...WAIT)....GOOD LUCK EVERY ONE

Please let us know how your appointment went. I just had a member call trying to locate a Medicaid surgeon in LA and I was glad to find your recent information regarding Tulane.

I have Lipedema and Lymphedema. I also have a passion for Obesity and Health Insurance Advocacy.

Thanks but that doesn't tell me what size my doc used. I just figured someone here who had used Surgical Specialists would have know. I guess I will just have to get off my lazy butt and call them and ask them!
