St. Charles parish has a lot to offer and it is only 20 minutes from New Orleans.  If you are wanting to be near the city, this area is a good option.

Hello everyone!
Just wanted some advice on some nice places to live, which are considered pretty safe.  Preferrably not too far from New Orleans.   Also, if anyone has any info about a nice safe trailer park or campground area in case I have to do something temporary before finding a more permanent housing would be great.   I don't know if I am for sure going to move, but wanted to start looking into options.
Thanks!

Howdy from Texas...Just wanted to make sure you guys knew there is going to be a OH conference in Houston in November.  Last year I met several people from LA who honored us with their presence and I'm hoping many more of you come this year.  It really is a blast and very affordable.  So gather up some girlfriends and hit the road, we'd love to see you there.  We often put 4 people in a room which makes the hotel cheap too.

For anyone that's interested, there are several support group leaders on the Texas board that have discount codes where you can attend for $35 instead of $60.  Just come over to our State board and look at some posts cuz people have them in their signature line.  (I'm not one of them-I have no vested interest in the conference-I just like to meet new people).

Anyway, here's the link and if you have any questions, give me a shout.  The conference is great for pre-ops, newbies as well as old-timers that need motivation.  Hope to see you there!!
