Once everything that Ms Cheryl wanted was done, and faxed over- she made my appt, the same day she got it all and verified it everything. At that first appt, we discussed what he would do and answered my questions, after that I got a call about which surgery date I wanted. And that was a wrap.
I was blessed to have no major complications, with the surgery. I caught a stomach flu right afterwards, that was hell, but it was not due to the surgery, more from being around my kids, lol.
kissy had her surgery, and she is doing great, last i spoke to her. And I am 6 months out and am doing fabulous. I am on a high protein low carb lifestyle, I do eat excercise and have started weight training.
I do allow myself to eat the occasional cookie or spoonful of ice cream, one or twice a month.
Hi I hope you see this message because I have been faxing my paperwork to Ma. Cheryl and I have the same questions you all had . Next month is my last weight tracking paper so my question is how long is it to get your appointment & when you get yr appointment how long is it before you get your date?
If you have any info that might be helpful to me please share.
thank you!
I'm right there with you. I'm online researching daily if I come across anything that might be helpful to you are myself I will let you know asap. BTW I'm trying to have revision surgery too.
Hi,
I live in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and am seeking a bariatric surgeon who accepts Medicare AND Medicaid locally. I am in desperate need as I have severe osteoarthritis in my hip and need a total hip replacement but orthopedist will not do surgery until I lose a considerable amount of weight. Can anyone help me?
Does anyone know of a bariatric revision doctor in Louisiana that accepts new Medicaid patients?? I have United Healthcare. I'm new to all of this and I'm desperate for help, please someone.... anyone...
