Sherri - do you have a date yet? I am going to give up on the protein for a couple of days and try to eat to get my strength back. I blended some soup this morning and ate about 5-6 tablespoons of that and it went down really good! I am just gonna keep trucking along!!!

Yes it is covered however you must have a BMI of 35-40 with other problems, weight loss plans, etc....or if BMI is over 40 nothing is required....best insurance in the world....altho I do not qualify for the surgery under insurance I will be gettin the Sleeve......they do cover the Sleeve, Lapband, or Gastric Bypass....Good Luck :)

Hey Traci.We could never forget about you. Talk about a bunch of women haveing a blast. A cruise to celebrate our new lives would be awesome.How are your incisions? I hope that it get easier for you to get your liquids and stuff down. I have my protein powders ready but hope that they still taste ok after surgery lol. Keep in touch and lets see if we can plan that cruise....Sherri

Is there anyone that works for Century Tel or Embarq (have merged) that know if WLS is covered ?
My company will be merging soon w/them..

Make sure you get someone to get your meds filled before you leave the hospital - there is a Walgreens on the same block! I swear they give you a scrip for a gallon of liquid Lortab. There is no way I can take all that! But you will need it for the ride home!

Y'all don't forget about me!!!! Well, I have been having problems taking anything in but I just need to keep trying different things! I ran a low grade fever all weekend but I am feeliing better today - I just need to keep pushing myself! I am happy for the upcoming surgeries because I think it is a good thing and happy for us that have had the surgery! Lets keep losing and I am not joking about us all going on a cruise together next year!!!

Dr. Walter Sartor, monroe, la is taking medicare now; he can be reached at 318*998*7313; i will be having rny on 10/19/10; and have a medicare replacement plan thru universal healthcare as my insurance; hope this helps someone

But if you want to call or communicate, I'm here for you. I'm trying to find friends down here, too. I'm doing some stress eating too, so I'm in need of someone to help me too.
