I thought about you alot the last few days! i didnt have gas pain but i had alot of pains i dont know how to describe.

Hey 3dhowel. Nice to meet you. Congrats on having the surgery. I am sorry that you are still having the hunger. I have not had my surgery yet but soon I hope. lol  I have read lots of post in the last six months about wanting to chew. Some of the ideas are to chew ice chips, chew something and then spit it out ( not sure if that is safe), and chew gum ( gas?) but I sure hope that the feeling gets better.Another suggestion is to check your PPI and see you if u  have too much acid and the hunger is from that. I have not had my surgery yet but am close.  I am waiting on my approval now.  I am having surgery in New Orleans and cant wait.  How are you doing since your surgery.  I love womens and childrens hospital. I cant sleep so was just looking around the OH site and found message boards by state. I think it would really be helpful to become friends with people living nearby that is going through this journey also.
I am from Westlake, LA. I had the RNY surgery on Oct.13, 2010 at Women & Childrens hospital. Dr. Richard Shimer is my surgeon. I just love him and his office staff. They are always so helpful, friendly and never make me feel like I am intruding on their time with questions.

Hi Guys
I've been trying to find a Psychologist that expects medicaid in my area without any luck. The psychologist that Dr.Bellows wants us to use cost 300.00 bucks.I don't know about u guys but i just don't have it.Another friend of mines on here found one in her hometown that expects medicaid but she lives 3-4 hours away from me.I might be forced to travel that far if i can't find one closer to me.I will even go to New Orleans if need be.If anyone can help me with this i would really appreciate it.
