You know the delay happened for a reason. Maybe the reason is to save your life. If you look at it that way, it's not as bad. Hoping all goes well with you and you get what you want.

I am glad to hear you are well...It will get better... think positive... hard part is over with!! Rest alot but also get up to walk here and there... plenty of liquids too!! You can try Gas X strips... I did have gas so it didnt work for me but everyone is different.. Hope you feel better soon...Dee

I do not know about medicaid, but I have medicare as my secondary and they will only pay for the ssurgery if it is done at a Center of Excellence hospital and surgeon with a Center of Excellence certified.

I hit enter before I finished my post. lol!! It isn't the surgeon that has them here. If you live near here, the meetings are the 3rd tues of every month. If not try contacting your nut or dietitian, bariatric coordinator at your hospital.
The card says that you are a patient that has had the surgery and requests that we be allowed to order off of the kids menu or a partial meal at a reduced price. I haven't used it yet because I am still on pureed foods.

I put a few peeled quartered bananas in a ziplock and freeze them. I add them to my protein powder and water along with a few frozen strawberries, artificial sweetener, and vanilla flavor, then blend it up into a smoothie. I can't drink all at once, but it keeps well in fridge or freezer. It is really yummy!!
