the place when i had the eval done, only lets you see the actual psych. dr if the therapist thinks you need to, so i'm hoping they do accept it.

thats what i was afraid of, i was trying to get all of that done before hand, i live about 40 miniutes from dr bellows office. i know several people travel much farther, but i was trying to be ahead of the game !

oh geesh this sucks... did she say how long it would be before you go for that appt?
also i read a different post about going to a psych doctor in Laf
did they accept it or they didnt tell you that yet either?

Hey Ella I am sorry that you are having trouble. I had the same problem. if you read my earlier post I waited from Oct. 25 to Dec. 10 for them to fax my stuff to medicaid.  They are not in a hurry at all.  It might make things go faster if you go in. i hate that you have to make another trip. I have been there.  But if you decide to go in and see Vanessa you need to ask her how soon will she write the letter and for it to be faxed. See if she can write it right there. Thats what one of the other ladies did. I know its frustrating.  I dont mind the venting. I did it a few times too.  I dont know why they take so long or why they put our stuff on the back of a burner but they do.  Do you have Sheila's direct number? All I can say is call her constantly. Leave messages for her. She was tired of hearing my voice but I never gave up. 

it is such a pain to have to wait on people that do  not try to hurry! I have gotten all my required visits and such and had everything faxed as of today,hmm well they wouldnt tell me if they have it all or not.She said she will try to tell me friday.Then she says that its likely that Vanessa will need to see me again before she writes the letter or submits it to medicaiid for approval.I told her ok,but I just saw her last week and I live 4 hours away,cant she  just review and send this in without an extra visit?So then I get  a bunch of bull about how im  choosing to go there,hmmm...no Im not,no one will take medicaid but them. So far I liked Vanesa,she is very nice,I was told before that I would see her then go and get all the required visits and they would send off  for approval then id get a call with the date and Id then see Dr Bellows for my pre op app,and id have to return 7 days after surgury to see him,there was no mention of an extra visit with vanessa for something that could take place on the phone....I just had to vent ,its been a stressful day!
