this is kinda making me sad... i go for first appt with bellows office feb 2nd... i have pcp stuff, sleep study, and a phych eval (that im not sure they will except cuz they didnt answer when i called to see if they excpeted it eventhough medicaid themselves gave me the number to pysch)... the cardio is right around the corner and was told i can get an appt in a bout a week so im calling monday to set that up for before i go on feb 2nd... so all ill have is NUT and PT so i thought i was ahead of things but knowing that this might happen to me i guess i should kiss my hopes of having the surgery before summer good bye huh

Hey Ella I am sorry you are getting treated so unfair. They did the same to me. I wish that I would have went there instead of dealing with calling her for over a month and a half trying to get them to fax my stuff. It really is ridiculous how they make us wait for them after we have busted our behinds to get everything done in a timely manner. Just thin k I started all of my stuff with my first call to Dr. Bellows in May. I will not have surgery until Feb. 16Th. I was told at my first appointment that it would only take three months MAX to get everything done and have surgery. Phff. That's way past. It is really infuriating especially when you cant get someone to answer the phone and tell you where something is. I don't know if it will hel*****t to go in and see Vanessa. But it sure cant hurt instead of waiting on Sheila to call you or answer the phone. Its a shame we cant threaten to go to another Dr. because of poor treatment since he is the only one that takes our insurance.  Just don't give up.  If I had lived alot closer I would have been in the office raising all kinds of Hell asking why my stuff was being sat on. But unfortunately I am like you and live 4 hours away.

Love being told that someone will talk to me on a certain day but they dont accually do it.Wensday when I  got sheila on the phone at dr Bellows, she  not have time to look my info up but promised she would friday,well no such luck ,ive called today 4 times and left a message once,and now im told shes gone for the day ,well thats  just crap! So I now get to spend t he weekend  waiting to just  find out    if or when they will send  it to medicaid for approval,I have  busted my BUTT trying to ge t  everything required as fast as possible to get the ball rolling. I feel like I need to drive there and sit in the office untill they accually do something,Medicaid  does not always take very  long to read it and approve,sometimes just a week or so,sometimes a month...but this wont happen when they dont  write it up and send in..........................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Call all the area hospitals,someone will be cheeper or take medicaid.I have  had my appointment and done everything now,now im waiting for them to send  my  letter to medicaid  to get approval.TRY to get the nut done and to bring in everything when you go for  the appointment and possible they will write the letter while you are there.

yeah because i was told tgeir psych costs $300.. so i hope so too
