Topic: Steroid Injestions

I am waiting on insurance approval for my WLS (bypass) and i have a herniated disc and the neuro dr. is wanting to do spinal injestions on my back. So is this gonna be a problem if i get my approval and have my surgery soon. I will be put under whle they do the injestions so that i am very still since they will be injecting into my spine. Just wanting to know if anybody esle has ever had this problem.......Thanks and God Bless

yes have home health for over a month with therapy and iv's, still can not walk.

Last i heard was that she was home. She is still having a very rough time but is improving at a very slow rate. She is in my prayers. I hope that she is well soon.

the last i read, she was in the hospital and not doing well...does anyone have any latest information...i keep her on my prayer list

Dr. Shimer in lake charles has the absolute best office staff. The insurance person ALWAYS calls back on the same day when you leave a message. She pushes the paperwork and works on getting your approval. She made me feel like I was their only patient. I would very highly recommend him. His nurse also calls back on the same day you call. I have never had a dr where the office staff was so caring and proffesional. They pushed the insurance very hard for me. Brenda is the receptionist/insurance person.
I went to other surgeons and dr. shimer was the one I felt the most comfortable with.

I too am waiting for Ms. Vanessa to write the letter to medicaide. But my only advice is too go sit in her office to get things going, and let's not forget, all good things happen in due time. Be positive and just know, we will all be on the losers bench in no time! Good luck!

i recently found out that they do the wls......was wanderin if anyone has had theres done by there..i cant think of the dr.s name off the top of my head
