Hey Ella. I hope that your husband is doing good. I am doing better and better each day. Almost time for you to have your surgery. I hope that they are quick to send your stuff for approval. I eat really small amounts and am having to teach myself to slow down and also the not drinking with my food. Started soft food. Its not bad.

They opened me up in the office. They gave me a local and then removed the glue and scabs. she then had to cut through the skin that was healed. When she did that stuff just started draining so fast she couldnt catch it all. Then she had to press my stomach to gt all the drainage out. Smelled horrible. She cleaned with them long q-tips and took samples. Then showed me how to pack the hole everyday and sent me home with 2000 mg of pennacilian a day. Dont think much is going to grow now lol. Anyways its much better. If thats the worst I have to deal with then I am good lol. Dr. said that it can happen sometimes because that is where they pull the stomach out. There was nothing I could have done to prevent it. Anyways its all getting better now.

I am doing better. I developed an infection in one of my incisions. and had to be reopened. Now I have to change and repack hole everyday until it closes. but its not painful just uncomfortable. They gave me some new meds to stop the contraction feeling and it has worked so far. Seem to be healing good and sooooo full of energy. I get fussed at lol. Anyways I cant wait to see you on the bench and I am saving you room.

Topic: RE: Approved for Surgery!!!
I had the PPO version of Blue Cross/ Blue Shield and it was of Texas, not Louisiana. However, they required three months of supervised weight loss with a nutritionist, along with a sleep study and psychiatric evaluation. Good luck to you.

I'll be swinging critters for you! I don't think you should have any problems being approved depending on which surgery you are interested in. They seem to approve some easier than others. Let us know how it goes!
