I got a caLL today From Shiela,she gave me a surgery date,Its July 27th! I am extreemly aggravated that I have to wait 3 and a half months! I also am hosting a 40th anniversary party for my parents,along my sis and thats on the 2nd of aug,no way can I do that,so im thinking of haveing the party on the 13th maybe so ill be alittle bit better by then.I wana at least be not hurting and able to at least sit and visit with everyone.

When i went in less than a month ago she said they were booked up till mid may so it will HOPEFULLY be no later than mid June.. so i guess we will see thursday IF she actually calls us.. She said calling US back?.... She has had my approval since march 25 i didnt get a call last thursday... and i just bought some crystal light stuff id figured id try them with unjury unflavored powder when i need water and protein.. im getting ready too lol... i usually dont like poweraid but i might have to get some cuz i dehydrate easy too..

Hi,I accually just talked to her @ 9 am and she says that thursdays are her only day she has to do any paperwork,and she will be calling us on thursday and sending out something in the mail.Hmmm.I know we have to go there 3 weeks before the surgury,so im assuming we arent getting nothing done till july at this point.but im praying for surgury in may or at least early june @ this point.I went yesterday and bought 2 cases of slim fast high protien lo carb and a case of the zero calorie poweraid because my husband became dehydrated after surgury,so im gonna not do that,lol......Im just getting ready!

I am a employee of Qwest which Century link just merged with effective today...I would like to get information on what health and dental companies Century link currently uses ? and other additional benefit offerings and coverages Century link offers. It is our understanding we will keep what we have until next insurance plan year, currently we do not have information on Century link benefits.
But-i heard it hasn't been determined whose benefit plan we would all keep-Qwest does not cover any WLS at all ! so hoping Century link is way better. You can email me personally if you wish at work email: [email protected] to discuss further. I mainly use OH at work & I am blocked from reading emails and can only see posts.
would appreciate and tidbits of information on the complete benefit package!

when i was in tulane hosp in nov, they were taking over another doc practice, so i bet they are swamped!!!!!!!! but that is no excuse, they should have enough staff hired to take care of all the patients, i would fax it a few times!!!!!! ;o) and call mon, hope yall get ur date soon!!!!!!!!! only eating 3 to 4 ounces and ur stuffed like a xmas turkey still amazes me!!!!!!!! if u ever want to call and ask me some questions ur more than welcome.

thank you disabled_nurse... im trying to give her the benefit of doubt and not call her till monday/tuesday that will be a week since we spoke and over a week since i sent my approval... im just hoping she gets it together and calls me first.... and congrats on all that weight loss.. amazing
