Hey girl. Glad its finaly happening for you. moving the party to the 13th is a great idea. You will feel way better by then. I know it seems like forever until your date. I was ready too. Call every week on like Tuesday and see if they have any cancelations so that you can get a date sooner if possible. Dee was able to do that. Good luck girl and i will be saving you a spot on the bench too.

Congrats on being sleeved Monday. I know you cannot wait. Gas-x strips were a God Send. Ask for mouth swabs from your nurse in recovery to wipe your mouth out. It will be extremely dry right after surgery. dont be afraid to ask for pain meds right off the bat. i let my pain get out of control and it was not nice. Prepair at home before you go. You will not be able to do anything when you get home. Make sure you have broth and jellos for when you get home and bottled water. A pillow for the ride home and I brought a blanket to snooze on the long ride home. I live 4 hours from hospital. Just be prepaired to be realy sore in the tummy area. The liquid pain med and nausea med taste like Ass!!! lol i wish you the greatest luck and a very speedy recovery. I have no regrets and only wish that I could have done it sooner.
