does anyone have any recommendations for plastic surgeons in south Louisiana (slidell/New Orleans area)? I am looking for a good surgeon to do an arm lift!

I'm tired of the run around. I've submitted all the info they wanted and went through all the visits and test that they wanted, vanessa told me everything was in order but she has not yet submitted it to medicaid for approval. She has had all the info for over 3 weeks now. I feel extremely frustrated. Every time I call to ask if it's been submitted Christen tells me she'll have Vanessa or Shiela call me and it never happens. Maybe I should just give up.

Wow you just had your surgery, how are you doing? I am going to my PCP to get my clearance today. My nerves are starting to set in a little now. I live in Luling, about 20 minutes outside of the New Orleans area.

Topic: Day 6 - Which weight would you use?
Well it is Day 6 since my VSG and I'm doing okay. Having problems finding a protein drink I can tolerate. OMG they are horrible. They are either too sweet, too thick, or just plain taste bad.
I'm weak but getting around pretty good.
Not sure what weight I should count from. On 7/1/11 when I started prep for the surgery I weighed 252, but by the day of the actually surgery I weighed 246. I've actually only lost 11 lbs since the surgery. What weight would you use?

I ALSO JUST GOT APPROVED FOR THE "SLEEVE". MY SURGERY DATE IS AUGUST 9. I WANTED AN EARLIER DATE BUT MY 1ST CHOICE SURG. RETIRED SO I HAD TO GO TO HIS PARTNER. THIS MADE A SLIGHT DELAY. I'M AM ALSO LOOKING FOWARD TO THIS LIFE ALTERING CHANGE FOR THE BEST. TIME SEEMS TO BE STOPPING BUT YET RUSHING ALONG. CRAZY HUH!!!! KEEP UP THE PROTEIN AND VITAMINS; GET IN THE BEST SHAPE THAT YOU CAN BEFORE SURGERY.... IS MY MOTTO. I HAVE BEEN EXERCISING FOR THE FIRST TIME IN YEARS....YEAH FOR ME! BUT STILL THE NERVES COME ALONG WHEN I LEAST EXPECT IT.

I would be like screw you. But I understand that you want the surgery and once it is done it will be great.
Sound like this doctor's practice needs some sensitive training and a good ass kicking!!!
