Why that was so sweet Louisisanacountrygirl! I have had the muscle spasms and little pain, but I just had my blood work checked and xrays and they too are normal! Thank you Angels! I have lost a few pounds, nothing to speak of but am not worried. Any questions please dont hesitate to message me. I am glad to be on the other side!!!

Do not give up! I am very discouraged right now but have not given up! I see them in the morning and as of now im 2 pounds heavier ,so ive lost nothing ,I had lost 9 pounds but but because of my major fluid buildup in my legs and stomach (due to lymph edema) Ive gained the weight back plus 2 pounds.I have been dieting by following the diet the dietician recomended for diabetics,which is no sugar, low fat,high protien,only whole grains such as brown rice and whole weat bread(only 2 searvings a day) and low fat dairey,and drink lots of water.Its been 20 days and I just could not loose the weight so im sure they will tell me my surgury will be held off yet again.Im very upset and this stress is not at all good for me and my diabetis,but they dont care,

get EVERYTHING you can get done before you go to first app because if you dont they are going to make you call to set another app AFTER you have completed everything. This is going to make your process 3-6 months longer. how far do you live from Tulane?. Yes you will need a 6 month consectutive weight consult info if you can show 6 months of consulting with any dr about weight i think they take it.. My first app was simple blood pressure vitals etc like any dr office.. Then Vannessa comes in and talks to you about the 2 choices (lapband, vsg) and goes over any of the visits you have completed. she will give you a list (similar to the one on there website) that has all their drs for app to be done. I live 2+ hrs away and was told i could use my own drs and i did for al except nutritionist. She will check off all the ones you have completed. The hardest one for ppl to find is the physical therapist.. Their PT is backed up for at least 6 months so i wouldnt bother with theirs : ).. any other questions feel free to message me..

21lbs is awesome. I am sorry you arent feeling all that well. I hope the tips help because from what I hear staying hydrated and protein is the key. good Luck, Hope you feel Better.

I've lost 21 lbs as of today (day 9). I'm weak because I can't get all of my protein in. We had a support group meeting tonight. I got some tips from others. I'm going to try them tomorrow. I live in Prospect, it's about 15 miles north of Alexandria.
