NOPE.. vannessa said 3 weeks more liquids after surgery then when i went for 3 week post op she said 2 more weeks liquids.. Find a good nutritionist and follow their diet for vsg because vanessa is making up things as she goes i think and i was at hospital overnight and they brought regular jello juice pospsicles etc NOTHING sugar free.. carbs galore needless to say i didnt take anything but the water...

well im still waiting for vanessa to call me about a appetite suppresant that some bariatric consultant had told her about but she did not remember the name and was waiting to find out and then call me about it.It was something that they sell at sams club,I am gonna be near one tommarrow and would like to go ahead and get it and be on it cause im craving everything,lol....I know its all in my head but GOD help me,its hard. lol...if you have something your doc told you to take from there please share!

Bariatric surgery clears in hospital you will recieve 2-4 meals of clear sugar free liq. water tea broth jello and gatorade
then you will start on pureed at the 5th meal you will eat this type of foods till you are discharged. pureed poultry and meat,mashed potatoes,unsweetened apple sauce
the at home diet is as follows for approximatly 3 to 4 weeks blenderized meat soft poached eggs low fat cottage cheese,sugar free puddings,pureed canned peaches,mashed ripe bannanas,blended soft cooked veges or overcooked mashed with fork,oatmeal,grits and farina this is what was given to me,I dont know if this is what really happens at tulane but this is from the paperwork vanessa gave me.

WOW! Vanessa is something,what reason did she give for not takeing fiber?Vanessa told me that diabetics should eat zero carbs that it wont make a diabetic sick to not have any carbs.I said well my pcp showed me a diabetic diet and it has carbs on it and he wants me to eat some carbs in small amounts.She said he wouldnt have said that and she wanted it in writeing ,lol. I understand that carbs make ya fat but where always told to have whole grains in moderation as recomended on the diebetic guidlines. She told me there is a appetite suppresant at sams that some bariatric person was soposed to call her and give her the name of and she was gonna txt me with the name cause I need to be taking it.Im worried that if i did take it that maybe they will cancle my surgury,I just expect anything from them,its scary. what did your pcp say concerning fiber? I had read on here that people are useing a fiber gummie,so im gonna get that,I need to go over my list of what to pack.How long was your stay in hospital and when did you have to go back there for first visit and second one?

Just saw your video...omg so sorry u are going thru that. U look so frail i thought u were going to pass out. Get well girly ! Thanx again for the awesome videos they are as reall as it gets. Thanks 4 sharing

High cholesterol, joint pain, severe gerd, no energy, same ol same ole cant wait to get rid of gerd and cholesterol medicine

2 nights and was scarred to go home then. I am still scarred of stretching my stomach, or hurting it. But the contractins are gone, and hardly no pain when I eat or drink too fast, which is by accident when I do it.
Think positive, and all ur hopes and dreams will follow!

Ok first of all, going into the Operating room before I got on the table and asked who is Dr. Bellows, he came and shook my hand. Then came to my room next morning for two minutes and that was it. Then I was having stomach contractions and Vanessa said go to my local er and call her. Well the Doctor on staff did, left message and 5 hours later she never called back. I suggest yall lose enough weight as needed, and pray. Im so glad im on the other side now. But vanessa is getting rediciolus and Shelia is out for a while???? Wonder what happened with her? Its a joke, just do as ur told and stay on this website with questions. Btw I have a question, how long did Vanessa say we had to stay on liquids after surgery? Good luck! Leigh

vanessa told me to NOT take fiber and now i have impacted stool it was severe enough for me to go to e.r. and she told my mother that it wasnt that serious that i shouldnt have went to er as to say i was just over acting eventhough i hadnt had a bowel movement in over a week..
