Becky AND Pat, that is FAB-U-LOUS!!!!! Doesn't it feel great to see the weight go like that? My first ten went fast, and now it is trickling, but I am losing and loving it! I am up to 14 lost so far, and people are starting to notice!!! I have not changed clothing size yet, but the girls are shrinking and so are the chins. You have so much to look forward to in this journey and it is a trip of a lifetime for us all. Kudos Ladies!!!!! Blessings & hugs! Christine

Good for you, Girl!! I told you the waiting was the hardest part! It is such a thrill to see that scale start moving and know that those pounds are never coming back!! And such a great motivator. It sounds like you're back on your feet already. I am so happy for you. Love, B

Hi kajun. i am one week pre-op, i am having my surgery next Monday. ok, my surgeon requires a 2 week liquid diet before gastric bypass surgery. i asked my self a million times how i would do it. last week i was on full liquids, i had slimfast drinks everyday for lunch, sugarfree pudding, sugar free jello, skim milk, gumbo juice once, and i did cheat and eat mashed potatoes twice. now i have started the clear liquids yesterday.. so far im having sugar free popsicle and jello, apple and grape juice, i tried chicken broth and did not like it. i hope this week goes by very fast and that i don't starve. oh also im sucking on sugar free candies, that is helping. i hope this helps you in some way, good luck and i hope you get to have the WLS soon............ Kat, Girl I am sooooooooooo with you ,, If we could freakin go on diets before we wouldn't need the damn surgery!!! THANK GOD,, my doctor never required that ,, exept after for 4wks and OMG ,I almost killed everyone around me and had 2 breakdowns,, its hard but I realized the more I drank I became full,, or just sick of drinking,, I took alot of naps to avoid the eating,, and talked and talked to everyone ,, find other things to do ,, and always come on here if you need support,, good luck girl!

I forget it is there but there hasn't been much activity on it lately. Go to yahoo.com and go to groups. I think you can search for it from there. Glad you are doing so well. Couldn't believe you were out and about at the vitamin shop. Hope we get to see you next Thursday! Susann
