Help with liquid diet

Hi guys I am new to all of this. I have a question about the liquid diet before surgery. Do I have to drink/eat all of the times that they say? I am just not hungry and feel like I am eating because it say to. My surgery is scheduled for May 23. Thanks.

I have my surgery May 10 with Dr.Warden of this group and I am on the optifast pre op diet.I was told that I can do it around the times that were suitable to me .My work day starts off at 5:30 am and at lunch time I am real busy so I just adjust the pre op to fit my schedule.I try to have it all completed by 6pm though.Good luck ....I know you can do it.

You don't have to do it just like they say but it is best to get in the routine before hand. And I found that by listening to what they tell you, I have had a good experience with it all.
