Hi everyone, My sister and I went for our first consult with Dr. Lavin's office back in March (towards the end). And right now (8:30 am) my sister is having her lap band done. I am so excited. I plan on having mine done really soon. I am currently waiting for the money (I'm self-pay), we have our first home which we have been renting on the market, and the proceeds will pay for my surgery. I am hoping for sometime in May. Please put my sister in your prayers. I know she will be fine and on the losing side soon, but I always worry about her since she's my baby sister. I'm hoping to meet some of you losers next week at the meeting on Thursday, my husband is going to babysit so unless something happens at work, I will get to see ya'll soon.
