ONLY 13 POUNDS TO GO OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Helllo to all, It has been a while since I have posted and update on me. I am in the process of get all my new pics on my profile for everyone to see. I have to hook up the printer this weekend to put them in the puter. But anyway. My big news is I am down to 148 I weighed in this am and got the shock of my life. So I am only 13 pounds away form my personal goal of 135. I am only 8 month post op so I should hit my goal by the time I hit 9 months WOW . I never thought it would only take 9 months to lose my all my weight. I am now in a size 8-10 pants. Well I just had to share my news with all of my family here. I have a bowling tournement today and tomorrow. So I have to got take a I will let everyone know how I did. Take care, Chrissy 226/148/135

Chrissy, That is wonderful!!!!! I have about 20lbs to go, but at this point I am wondering if I will start to lose again. I have seen 160.8 for the past month or so. I just can't get below it. Hope I get a kickstart again and can start to see the scale move. I really feel good but want to lose more. Did you ever stop and platue for any length of time? I have increased my protein the last two weeks and I am doing everything right, guess my body just is happy at this weight right now. Again Chrissy, I am so happy for you. Hugs, Jodi

Jodi, I did stall for about a month or so. I was stuck at 152.8. Now I am at 148.4 and have been that for about 2 1/2 weeks. I too have increased my protein hoping it will help. I went bowling today and all the reactions I got really made me feel good. Everyone told me how good I looked and how shocked they were. Thank you.. Love ya, Chrissy

Chrissy, I am glad to know that others have stalled for a month or so...I know I can lose more but of course I am thinking maybe this is where my body wants to be. I still feel like I am losing inches. Isn't it a neat feeling to hear the responses of others. I love it!!!!! I have never taken compliments well but I sure do now. I am feeling so much better about myself than I have in a long time. I just got a letter from my sister and she said she can tell in my voice how much happier I am. I just told her and my family a month ago that I had surgery, they were very supportive but I was afraid to let them know, sometimes they can be negative if it is not what they think is right. Well, girl hope you bowled an awesome game. I'm sure you were floating on cloud nine. Have a good one, JOdi

Yes, I had to change my name due to people googling my name and reading my profile. I dont mind people knowing about my surgery but I do not want them to know all the DETAILS, that is for me and my OH family to read... Good work on your feeling good and wonderful weight loss! 16 jeans too! Shireen
