My sis's surgery & mine too
My sister's surgery went well yesterday, she was home resting last night. Her only complaint was the pain from the ride home, she was 3 hrs away from the hospital and had to travel through much road construction on the ride home.
WOO HOO!! We signed a purchase agreement on our house yesterday, expected closing date May 4th. So now I am starting all my pre-op blood work, with plans to have surgery hopefully in early May. I can't wait, I didn't think I would be so anxious to get started on this new life, but boy am I ever impatient.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful morning. And thanks for all the prayers for my sister yesterday.

Shanna,
I am glad to hear that your sister's surgery went well.
Did Dr Lavin do her surgery? He did mine. I am 8 months post op now.
I have lost 78.5 pounds. I started out at 226.5 and now I am 148.
I was excited too when I got the ball rolling.I was counting the days.
I hope you get to have your surgery in May as planed. I was supposed to have mine last May but it got pushed back til Aug. I was sick in May so it was pushed back. I was glad to get my new date of Aug 16th, 2005.
I had my surgery 13 days before Katrina hit. I was going to wait til Sept 6th which is my B-day. But I gald I had it when I did.
I have had no problems at all.
Keep us posted on your sister and you too.
Take Care,
Chrissy
