Surgery went great and without any complications on Wednesday and I came home Friday morning. One of the best things I have noticed is that I am so full of hope. Pre-op, I was just worried about making it through the surgery. Now that I have been home, I have had time off to think about a lot of things and realized how hopeful I am for my future. I credit much of that to the education I received from this website when reading so many of your profiles and messages. So far, I have had no hunger or problems following the clear liquid diet. I did have some trapped gas and soreness over the weekend and I still need to figure out which protein drink I will be adding during week two! Take care, Lisa

congrads Lisa, you are doing great. Just do as your doctor tells you to do and walk as much as you can. that will make you heal so much quicker. denise

Congrats LIsa, You have such a positive attitude, I really think that helps out so much. Good luck finding a protein drink you like. I love the Nectar Carribean Cooler, right now where I buy it it is on back order. I bought the roadside lemonaid and it is not to bad. I also like the instone pudding. Enjoy your new life, this has been such a fabulous journey for me. Take care, Jodi
