FINALLY! After two years I have a surgery date and...

and it is in two days!!! Ochsner is now a COE for United Healthcare and my surgery is this Wednesday. United called this morning to let me know I was pre-certified and I went straight to Dr. Richardson's office to sign my consent forms. I need to give a quick shout out to Gina A. - without her fight, the exclusion would not have been lifted from my insurance and also to my Mom who has been here twice for what we thought were going to be surgery dates! This time around she has been here for three weeks waiting. I am so blessed to have her support. Prayers welcome!

Congrats!! I will be seeing him on the 20th to see if he's willing to help my "special needs" and we go from there! You're probably in a fitful sleep (if you slept at all) with anxious anticipation right this minute... but I wish you the best of luck, you've got an amazing team there, including the nurses on his postop unit... Please do tell the nurses there on the 5th floor that Kat said hello and that I'll be stopping in to visit them soon.
