Went for 6 month check up today

I am 6 months post op and went to dr today for check up. No problems, a little slow at losing but he said that is pretty normal due to being a revision patient. He weighed me in at 196 which is pretty accurate with my home scale. I was 192 last week so really have to concentrate on getting this off. The doc said that I will lose another 15 to 20 pds ok but the rest will be a struggle to get off. He said 5 pds a month is pretty normal in losing. Dont seem like enough. I will try really hard. I worked out this morning. I just really find it hard to believe that my ideal weight is 148 but he only expects me to get to about 175. Go figure. denise

hi denise, glad to hear you are striving for your goal. Don't worry about # when you feel comfortable, let that be your goal.. i'm big on #'s to, but its not good. keep up the good work girl! how is your grandbaby? rhonda
