Vitamins

Hi Y'all, I was just thinking about vitamins today. I was thinking about taking the Centrum Complete, chewables. What does everyone else use and why do you use what you use? I have heard alot about flintstones vitamins too, but I think I prefer the centrums. Cindee

I use to take the Centrum complete chewables, my doctor said they where the best for us. I also used the liquid some it is even better for us but the taste got old quick and I went back to the chewables. But on my last visit to the ob-gyn I told him I planned to get pregnant again starting in September and he put me on a chewable prenatal vitamin. He said it is never to soon to start them and especially with me having the surgery they would be better for me anyway. So now I use chewable Nutrinate. With my insurance I only have to pay 15 dollars a month for them so it's not too bad. Tina

Hi Cindee! Your surgeon (the beautiful genius that he is) has a suggested vitamin for RNY postops. I don't want to fib, but I think it's a prescription or bariatric advantage. I bought the Cntrums and they are still in the kitchen. I didn't need anything until I became extremely anemic after my staph infection issues. I did prescriptions for a few months after an intense week of tranfusions and IV infusions. I do recall Vicki? (sat front of you last night) say in a committee meeting that she was using a special vitamin recommended by the docs instead of off the rack. I can't wait to see you sail through with flying colors. Thanks Frances, I can always count on you for an educated response!! I guess I'm just getting kinda jittery with the waiting, and trying to think ahead of what I may need at home. I have an appt. with Doc Handsome on Wed. So... I will wait until I see him and ask. although, an Rx would be good, b/c my insurance for Rx is wonderful. Cindee

pre natals are the best if they will give them to you
