Yay...Update on Lucy

Just to let you know that things are finally looking up for my sister. No they still haven't pinpointed the problem with Lucy, but the treatment she has gotten has definitely made her feel better and she might...MIGHT...get out of the hospital today or tomorrow. They still haven't gotten the results from the biopsy yet, but the source of the bleeding, which has slowed considerably to nearly stopped, is not her pouch. It is apparently further down her intestine. This means that in the near future sister-poo will have to get one of those lower GI's done...eeew. Hopefully, within a day or two of being released she will be heading back to California and in to see her surgeon. Josie, I am glad things are working out for your sister. I know the lower GI's sound gross but they are not that bad. So please assure her of that. I will be keeping her in my prayers. Jodi
