I want to share this advice on low-carb pasta sent to Cindee in another post today: The product YOU seek is Dreamfields Pasta: http://www.dreamfieldsfoods.com/ Dreamfields is extremely low-carb pasta that looks and tastes like regular pasta because it starts with wholesome Semolina pasta. It's then processed to eliminate most of the *net* carbs. This means instead of counting and ingesting 40 grams of carbs per serving, you ingest 5 -- yes, say it baby, 5 -- grams of carbs for each delicious serving. Here's some stats: *Only 5 grams of digestible carbs per serving *65% lower glycemic index than regular pasta *Twice the fiber of regular pasta *Naturally cholesterol free *0 grams of trans fat Here's the F. Factor: IT TASTES GREAT! Unlike the chemical voodoo diet products out there, I not only eat it, but I serve it to my child. My Mac-N-Cheese is as good as any old fatty box brand. I've used the spaghetti, linguini, penne and elbow varieties and I just saw they are expanding to lasagna and Rotini. Well, woohoo. I'm excited about real foods like this because it's an option for my whole family without any funny looks or worries about "diet food backlash." I've heard folks finding it at WalMart in other areas. I've not seen it at WalMart, but I've brought it from Albertsons and Krogers. In this day and age: Never settle... there's always a better way. Onward! Frances
