MY TRIP TO BATON ROUGE
Well my trip was a well deserved vacation. My son did awesome at the tournament... He has a 83 average and he bowled well over it on all 9 games. As we left the bowling alley Sunday... This was where he was at in standings....Teams 7th, doubles 2nd, singles 21st, and all events 5th. I am sooooooo proud of him, this was his first tournament. He said mom I want to come back next year so again we will be going to state, next year is in new orleans.
I went out to my dad's in greenwell springs, he had a blast with his grandkids. They went fishing in their lake that is in the back yard, my youngest son and daughter caught their very first fish with grandpa, they were so excited, but not as excited as my dad.
I was so tired when we got back home, I am just now getting everything unpacked. I came home and went straight to bed, that was a long drive with 3 kids, but well worth it.
I hope everyone had a very nice weekend. I know I did, we will be going back for easter.
God bless,
lori
Hey, Lori,
Wow, Congrats to your son!! I looked for you over the weekend, but with so many people it was hard to tell. My son had a good time too, once he got the hang of the lanes. My son is a veteran of these tournaments, having been a bowler since age 6 ( he's 14 now). He didn't do as well as he could have, but he did have a good time. I'm glad your son enjoyed his first tournament, and we will look forward to seeing you next year in New Orleans!!!
Cindee
Well I showed up a little late for the first day, which was their teams event, I stayed at dad's visiting while my husband and two sons went ahead and went up there. We bowled on lanes 9 and 10 the first day, then on Sunday 19 and 20. I should have told you what my husband would have been wearing, he is the biggest jimmie johnson fan, and he was dressed in lowes racing from head to toe, lol. I wish I had given you my cell phone number just in case.
My son asked me to make him a new screen name on aol, and then asked mom, you going to change your screen name on oh and support me, so hence the new screen name. Lol I am just so proud of him.
We will definitely see you in new orleans.
God bless,
lori
