Back to Work

Hey everyone: I accepted a job at Neuro Medical Center in Baton Rouge. I'll be doing Insurance/Patient Collections. I start in the morning. I had to go buy me some new scrubs. I went to wally world...I can finally fit in their sizes!!! I used to wear a 5x shirt and 4x bottoms...today I bought a 3x shirt and 2x bottom. My mom cried when she seen them on me. They are a little bit tight, but as fast as I'm losing I'll be able to wear them for a little while. I only bought two pair. It will take a bit of time to get back into the work routine. I haven't worked since October. This is the longest I've ever been off since I started working. I have a feeling I'll start getting more of my fluids in now too. Right now I sleep a lot and don't drink as much. But there I'll have a water bottle at all times. I hope everyone is doing well!

Congrats on the new job. That is a job I am so familiar with. I filed insurance, medicare and medicaid at my last job. I have also done the collections/insurance for a doctors office. I just finished a temporary job last week. I have a temp job for two days this week. I think I am ready to go back to work. Not sure if my husband wants me to, but I am ready. I am going to be extremely picky if I do go back. I want off no later than 4pm. Got spoiled at my last job and had great hours. I love the 7-3:30 shift. Hope I can find something. I know what you mean about getting your fluids in. My biggest problem with the temp job, I could not even have water at my desk. So I had a real hard time getting my water in. Oh well, the job is done so I will move on. Better go, taking the kids out to eat. Have a great evening, Jodi

Sorry about all the post, my computer is acting screwy!!!!

LOL...that is ok...my computer has done that before!! I worked at Vascular Surgery for four years...that was my last job. I also worked at Dynacare Lab. I've done the insurance/patient collections for the past 9 years. I love it!!! I know what you mean about the hours, mine will be 8:30 to 5:00. I hate this traffic in Baton Rouge....but oh well! Hope you enjoy dinner!

Congrads on new job, you will do great. I havent worked in a couple years and spoiled being home. But my DH is to retire in about 3 to 5 yrs and I want to be here with him that is why I am going into real estate so I can be with him more, choose my own hours. Take care denise 250/196/150

good luck with the new job Christie... i work in the billing/collections office at Opelousas General Hospital..... that is also where i will have surgery on May 1. i hope you enjoy the job... take care.... Kateri
