Nasty day here in the greater shreveport area. Just wanted to post that for about a week now I have been having pain in my stomach. Its gotten worse over the week and also I started my period two weeks early. Well I thought it was a female problem so I called the ob/gyn doc and I go wed for check up.(over due anyways) well the pain has gotten worse so I have been talking to my doctors nurse by email Friday and over the weekend. Placed a call into docs office this morning and waiting to hear back. The nurse said that they May do a scope and check things out. Feel better sitting and laying down. And it hurts real bad when I take in a deep breath or burp. This morning I woke up and back hurt too but its eased up. Strange feeling, almost like a burning. Have not thrown up or felt sick that way and its not cramps. Will let you know what happens. Thanks for letting me ramble denise 250-196-150

Hi Denise, I am sorry you are feeling bad. Do you still have your gallbladder? It sounds like some of the problems I had with mine. Isn't the weather ugly? I just feel like I need to go back to bed. It is so yucky. Hope is passes on through. I want the warm weather back. Keep us posted on your pain. Jodi

Hi Bob, Glad to meet you, yes I have seen your picture in the office. I just read your profile, you sure did go through a lot. Sorry you had to deal with all your post op problems. I was just in his office for my 3 month visit and also for the support meeting. There were only 3 RNY's and the rest were band patients. I do enjoy talking with others concerning the RNY. Bob, you have done fabulous!!! You must be thrilled. Take care, Jodi

Hi Denise. I actually just went through the same issues, only I've already had my gallbladder removed. The pain stayed for almost two weeks but then just disappeared. I tried everything from gas medicine to laxatives but nothing worked, it eventually eased up enough for me to just wait it out. I hope everything works out for you and let me know what it is incase I need to call my doctor to inform him about getting something done for this issue. Thanks Kristen 240/185/145ish
