Frances, have you heard how Ashleigh is doing
Just posted this, Jodi. Ashleigh appreciates all your sweet kindness and so Do I.
Ashleigh to have surgery tomorrow!
I'm sorry to say that Ashleigh is still going to be "going through it" for a while. She had an upper GI today that showed some type of obstruction. Dr. O said it could be an intestinal obstruction or some large intestines might be steeping through the staple line.
I wish I could take this pain and fear away from her. I know what recurrent surgeries are like, but I'm old and "I've lived." I do hate to think of one so young having to suffer, but I know old birds like me are made tough through life's experiences that seared and shaped us at the same time.
I've gone into detail about the inquiries about her condition. She is deeply touched by all of you and so am I.
The surgery will be tomorrow at 7 a.m. I'm sooo thankful for Dr. O. These tricky abdominal procedures are right up his expert alley. Please pray for Ashleigh and her surgeon.
Thank you deeply,
Frances
