Staying after all!

Well it looks like we will be staying after all. The job my husband was going to take will be going away in two years so we are not taking it. If we did he might not have a job at all, so we are staying here for now. I was excited to go home and be with my family again. But I have met some great people here and will be happy no matter where I am. Tina

Tina, so sorry to hear about you staying,, I mean I am excited but I know how it is to want to be by family,, especially if yall are as close as my family,, but since my dad is still in bham , I travel there about every other month,, I'm glad your staying though and hope every thing works out for you!

Hey Tina, sorry to hear about you not being able to move back home. I'm sure it's hard not being close to your family. My mom lives right here in Denham right around the corner from me. My brothers are here in Denham too, but all of my other relatives are around Lake Charles. At least it's not too far where you can't go visit sometimes or they come here. Christie 340/302/170

Yeah it's close enough we go at least once a month but I'm really sick of the five and a half hour drive there to be honest. But we love our family and want to see them as much as possible so we will continue to do it. Plus I've met alot of great people here so I don't mind staying a little longer. Tina

Tina, I am sorry things did not work out for you guys. At least you are close enough to go home every once in a while. My family lives in Florida which is a good 18 hour drive. And just this weekend we said goodbye to my inlaws. They were living in Tyler Tx, about an hour in a half away. They are leaving Tuesday morning for Utah. They have been in Tyler for the last 5 years and I have so enjoyed having them close by. I am so envious of my friends who have family close by, since I have been married it has just been my husband and myself. Oh well, guess where we go on vacation? Florida one year and up north the next. Looking forward to next Christmas it will be snowsking in Utah.... I am glad you have great people around you it sure does help out.
