NECTAR PROTEIN,FUZZY NAVAL

Ok so I went to the health store and bought "nextar protein fuzzy naval" so many people said it was good including my nutritionist and let me tell you it was baddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd ,, thankfully I didn't barf but I would of if I had more than 1 sip,, has anyone tried this that likes it? I am willing to part with the freakin $35 jug,,, thanks I did however find some "optisource" I think its called that,, its in a huge 2lb jug and its esp for gastric bypass pts , it helps with stomach healing and has tons of vitamins and proteins , its really good,, but expensive $35 a jug also,,

Ashleigh, I didn't like the fuzzy naval either, however I love the Nectar Carribean Cooler. It tastes like a pina coloda, I actually crave this. I mix it 1/2 orange juice and 1/2 water. It is so good. I just bought a jug of the Crystal Sky and it is so gross. It looks like pool water. They didn't have the Carribean cooler last week so I thought I would give that one a try. . You can get samples from Vitalady.com. I think it was 2.00 a sample. Sure wish I had tried the Crystal Sky, oh well live and learn.... Have a good day, Jodi

THANKS CHEERMOM,, YEA THEY HAD SOME OTHERS THAT LOOKED GOOD, THEY DIDNT CARRY THE CARRIBEAN COOLER AT THE PLACE I WENT, I WILL HAVE TO ASK THEM TO ORDER IT,, THANKS SOOOOOO MUCH FOR TELLING ME WHERE TO GET SAMPLES, WE KEEP ASKING WHERE WE CAN GET SOMETHING SMALLER THAN A 2lb JUG OF ONE ,, SO THANKS ,,

Ashliegh I like the Unjury vanilla I add skim mild and a handfull of frozen blueberries or a little piece of banana and strawberries--into the blender ---it is like a smoothie at smoothie king. Add a splenda if you like sweet. I am still pre op and love them!

Thanks betty, I am not yet to the fruit stage, so I don't think I can add any?? But I can't wait til I can, then I will make several different kinds with fruit!

Correction ,,, the one I am now drinking is "optipro" its awesome ,, mixes easy, taste great, and is sooooooooo filling I can't finish the cup,,

Ashleigh I like optipro OK vut the Unjury is sooo much better. Everyone in my support group uses optipro. The Unjury even with water or skim mild is much better. The vanilla smells like ice cream not medicine. You can buy in in a canaster about 1/2 the size of the optipro and it cost about $16. znot as big a loss if it doesn't work. I know you come to Covington for your doctor. let me know next time your here and I invite you by to tyr it or give you direction wherre to but it is you want to try it. I will be where you are in a little ofver a week and will be dringing them cold turkey. Good luck on your weight loss. betty

Hi Ashleigh: I'm pre-op and have been trying some of the different proteins. I did NOT like the Nectar fuzzy navel at all. I did get samples of Unjury vanilla, chocolate and strawberry sorbet. I mixed the vanilla with light soy milk, sugar free caramel or peach sugar free syrup and ice and it was really good. Mixed the chocolate the same way with the caramel syrup and it was really good also. You might want to try that and see if you like it. I got the sugar free syrups at World Market. Good luck, Angela

hey Ash I like it. I will take it off your hands for ya. I'm about to buy the roadside lemonade that they make too. The guy at the store says it taste just like lemonade so I'm gonna try it. It probably won't but that's alright I will try it. I mostly use unjury. Did you every find the Diet V-8 splash I was telling you about? Tina

Hey tina, no I never tried the v8 juices b/c I don't like tomato juice at all,, I don't even really like tomato's ,, so I'm afraid to try those!!! But thanks for the advice and I'll bring you the nectar next meeting,, my mom tried it and was like ewww we need to doctor this up ,, she was wanting to add strawberries and all kinds of stuff , I was like um mom ,can't have those things yet.
