Hi all, My daughter flew back to Philapelphia today and was hating returning to the cold. She left New Orleans after Katrina and misses her friends and family and New Orleans so much. She lost her house and job. Ten more days until my surgery--I am so anxious. March 13 can't come fast enought. How long did it take you after surgery to feel "normal". I have been on the liquid diet about 2 weeks and went shopping today and almost fainted. Living on so few calories is a real challenge. Yesterday I went to water areobics and then walk more than two miles in New Orleans back and forth from the parking garage and was fine. Give me some hints to get through this. I am open to suggestions. betty

hi, i didnt' do to well on the liquid diet thing, but once had surgery did great, 75lbs down so far, i was on pin and needles before surgery, just try to stay busy. good luck! rhonda 293/218/130
