Need Support BAD!!!!!!
Ashleigh, I am so sorry to hear you are having a tough time, But remember I told you a few months ago this may or may not happen? Like I told you last night and your Mom the day of your surgery, it would be more of a mental thing than anything. Remember, our bodies was use to 2000 plus calories and all of a sudden we might be able to only get 500 calories. It puts a huge shock on our body. I went through the exact same thing. I hated everyone who wished me well and said go for it! Including myself!!! I questioned why I even had it done and regretted it for a couple of months, but I do not regret any part of the surgery at all. It's just that we were so in control of ourselves and now our lovely pouch is in control. It is not going to be easy and our mental state seems to take over; But I promise you, it does get better and in a month or two from now you will be happy that you did it. Especially each time you get on that scale and you are jumping for joy because you have lost so much weight and in smaller clothes. As hard as it is, stick to the rules. It pays off in many ways! When you get depressed, and you will, call one of us and we'll listen to your anger and regrets. Unfortunately some of us go through it. I being one of them two years and eight months ago. I think my toughest time after the first month or so was not being able to gulp down fluids. I was so thirsty and just wanted to chug, but couldn't. My pouch did not allow me to. But G/F, when I could, there was no stopping me and quenching my thirst
It will get better, but in the meantime, hang in there and remember to feel free to call one if not all of us. You can always get a hold of me on my cell phone. Today I work 4pm until midnight. The only reason I will not answer, is because the phones are ringing off the hook and I am patching calls.
Keep your chin up and I Love Ya!!!!!

Ash try something besides the chicken broth. This is what me and the hubby did. I would make a big pot of chili and just eat the juice and he would eat all the good stuff out of it. But the chili broth was so good and it was something different too. Take any kind of soup and cook it strain it and eat the broth. I even cooked Ramen noodles and just drank the broth from that.
I'm sorry your having such a hard time. This is why I think it is better for your doctor to put you on the liquid diet before surgery. So you will know what it is like afterwards. I'm not telling you to go against your doctors orders but I will tell you that at a week out I ate a few bites of mashed potatoes and it held me over for awhile. They where instant and very running but they did not hurt me. I did feel like I had to have something and they hit the spot. I hope this is helpful to you. It will get better you'll see.

Francis and wonderful friend dee I knew I could make it through it,, then liz came over about 1am , when she got off work and just held me and reminded me of all the reason's I want to be thin,, which helped alottttttttt,, I actually am going to be putting that list on my profile soon < its like 40 items long!> so check it out soon tocome! Thanks again everyone, I love yall soon much , yall are definitly friends and family.
If you did eat something, it wouldn't taste good. Things don't taste good again until around 4 months. This is the period that retrains you to be less connected to food. I am sorry that it is so painful for you. You will be able to have yogurt soon. That may make you feel better. It is like eating, and actually was the only thing that I ate that wasn't too bad in the beginning.
Good luck, and know that a lot of the emotions that you are feeling right now are from the shock on your body due to surgery. Things really will get better.
