surgeon visit today

ok guys, back from surgeon visit , they are excited about the weight loss, 70lbs down in 3 months, i'm happy to, but lately been having chest discomfort, upper back discomfort,actually , all my bones hurt right now, I m trying to be in positive mode now.... i should be proud of the 70lbs, no longer diabetic, no high blood pressure, cholestrol is normal, what else could a girl ask for? i guess im asking for overnight sucess, surgeon thinks gallbladder might need to come out, we'll see.. thanx for listening,,, onward.......(as francis might say)! rhonda 293/225/130

70lbs is nothing to sneeze at. Glad everything went alright and your dong well too. Most people do have to have their gallbladder out eventually. Tina

Congrats on your success so far!!! I've been having some back pain too and learned last night that our body is going through changes and your muscles have to learn to restrengthen themsleves, if that makes any sense! Girl i know about that gallbladder stuff....i had mine removed about 11 years ago. But it was so easy!!! Three days later I was back to work. Good going.....

Hey hon, did they check your calcium levels? I hate to sound like a nag... but I can REALLY tell the difference in my body when I forget to take it

Just wanted to chime in about the chest and back pain. I had my lap RNY on 12/16 and I have been having chest discomfort and upper back pain. My surgeon's office said I need to come in because I may have an ulcer. I'm going in Monday. My chest (indigestion kind of pain) has been going on for a few weeks (off and on). Note: I had my gallbladder out a year ago, so I know that's not it.
