Update on My Grandfather

I would like to thank each and every one of you for your prayers and support during this difficult time my family is going through. I received an email from my Mother this morning and it said that they are thinking my Grandfather has possibly gone into a coma. He has not ate, drank, or moved since yesterday afternoon. The hospice nurse has told my family not to let my Grandfather be uncomfortable or in pain, so he can have his morphine at anytime if he seems to be in pain. They are trying to get my Mother and her four siblings to go over to my Grandfather's to say the rosary for him. My Grandfather is full Cajun and is fluent in Cajun French and English but, he prays in French so, they are trying to find someone that can maybe say the rosary to him in French. They are also going to play his favorite prayers in French in the background for him. So, it is just a matter of time. I have never prayed for someone to be taken away and to be at peace but, I want this for my Grandfather. Yes, I'm sad but at the same time I feel relief. I know my Grandfather knows we love him and there are no hard feelings between me and him and knowing that, I know I can let him go to a Higher Place and rest on that mountain. I know he will shine down upon us and I will see him in heaven again. Thank you all for you love and support through this difficult time. I will keep y'all updated. Love, Gina
