MY DATE!!

Ok so I posted on here that I got approved, and I think I included the date but don't know , so here it is . For those of you that are even curious! Its feb 22nd,,, I am so glad its a even day!! And I can't believe its less than 7 days away,, my dad is comming in from birmingham and my mom is already in from texas, she is staying in new orleans but is comming up on Monday to have my last feast of boiled crawfish!!!!!!!!!! , then all day Tuesday is pre-op,, and wed I am off to surgery!! I am not nervous yet, I guess cause it just doesn't seem real, I have been wanting this soo long and have got a no, its just unreal to actually get a yes!! I can't wait,, kat gave me a gift the other night and it was soooooooo sweet, thanks kat, I will miss you soo much when you move to texas, but we'll make another rode trip and come and see you !!

Ashleigh, I know what you mean about it not seeming real. I felt the same way. I started my journey in June, got approved in Sept and was thrilled. Went through the nervous spell and all the excitement, then had to have emergency surgery which postponed my WLS surgery date. Once I got the second date, I just didn't think it was going to happen. I didn't even believe it until I got to the hospital, I kept thinking something would postpone it again. Honestly until I was wheeled into the OR, it hit it was for real. I remember waking up in the recovery room wondering if it had even taken place. This has been a remarkable journey, enjoy every detail, it is so worth it. Jodi

Hey....sorry I missed ya'll last night. I had a long drawn out day with the unemployment office and after sitting there all day in folding chairs, I was hurting. I came home, laid on a heating pad and went off to sleep. It's too funny that there is someone else out there that is into that even number stuff, LOL. I thought i was the only one that did that. And the only odd number I like is 5!! Anyway....22nd is my lucky number, also my bday...big 34!! I'm excited for you!!! Everything will be A OK!!!

Well hey stranger!!!! I haven't talked to you in so long, and was having withdrawls!! I have been wondering how you are doing , and me with being bad calling people, haven't even called to make sure you were ok,,, I am glad your family issue's are getting better!! Thats good, didn't want to have to drive out there and kick some azz!!! I know I can't believe I finally got a date, and trust me I think the only reason I got it , is b/c my Dr. Office is sooooooooooooo sick of me , they were like please lets hurry and do her surgery so we can get rid of her!!! Lmao,,, well let me know when your free one weekend and we'll have another girls night out and you can spend the weekend with me,, everyone got to meet liz the other night, I asked about you, I wish you could of met her!!! But another day!! Thanks again girl!!

Ashleigh, You and Liz actually won Scott's heart. He was wishing you well all the way home. I'm glad he got a chance to meet you again and visit with you. Now he knows why I'm so crazy about you. "everyone got to meet liz the other night, I asked about you," OK, What did I miss out on??? Where did all of you (?) go and who was all there and what did ya'll do? Sorry I wasn't able to be there.
