Has anyone had their WLS in this facility?

Hi Betty, I was supposed to have my surgery there, Hurricane Katrina canceled it. There is a lady from Miss. Who had it there. I had a tour of it before it opened. Seemed to be a great facility. Good luck to you. I know you are in good hands with the surgical staff there. ~hugs~ Vickie

Hi Vickie, How are you doing? I am doing water areobics everyday, so I hope my body will do its part in this weight loss journey. I have lost 60# as of yesterday. Hello, I had my surgery there on Nov 28th, 05. It was a wonderful experience. I keep telling everyone that I was treated like a Queen. But, this is really true. I have had four major surgeries, not counting RNY, and I have never been treated so nicely and have all my needs attended to as I did there. It is a new hospital, fully equipted with all necessary things for gastric bypass. Which one of the doctors are you using? I am a patient of Dr. Clark Warden's and he was wonderful.
