48 hrs and I'll be snoozing while my doc is changing my life!!! AND my nerves are through the ROOF!!! I slept, maybe 2 hrs last night and am hoping that tonight fairs far better. Oh well, what's a gal to do . I'm so excited...I've waited so long and now, here it sails at me. LOL, I just returned from picking up my "prep" medicine and am very relieved to find out I drink two very small, albeit still nasty, bottles of whatever cleans you out good. I was really freaking when my doctor said I had to drink two bottles. I was remembering a certain gallon thing I had to drink once before....I was imaging my Valentine's night trying to get two of those jugs down.....thank goodness these are small! I hope you all have a great week.....you guys were great with all the advice you gave on my nervousnesss on my last post. It really helped! Catch ya later!!!

Kendra: Good luck with your surgery tomorrow. I'll be thinking about you. Today is my one-year anniversary and I couldn't be happier that I had the surgery. You probably won't be feeling too happy tomorrow night or the next few days, but it really does get better. When you start the prep, don't say I didn't warn you. That stuff is nasty. Cathy

Thanks Cathy....started my prep. It's nasty, but not too bad. I had to drink two small bottles with 8oz wated. So I could drink it all in one breath with my nose held.......so, it was managable. Jitters prevail tonight. See ya on the losing side soon. Kendra

Hi Kendra.....Good Luck with your surgery....I'm sure everything will be great! Just remember to get up and move around as much as possible after surgery. You'll probably have a cath the first 24 hours, so in bed it where you'll be for that. But enjoy your rest that day and relax. With me....the next morning I had my cath pulled and I went for the leak test...it was fine...that day I went to the pottie a couple of times and then that night I walked out the room for a bit. The next morning, bright and early, I was up!!! Feeling so much better to! I also came home that day. Yep....Surgery was Monday and was home Wednesday! I couldn't beleive, my Friday I had felt like I hadn't even bad surgery, pain wise! Keep your head up and you'll be fine, Christie 335/312/170
