KILL NOW OR LATER??

WARNING: I AM VERY MAD AND THIS POST WILL BE NOTHING BUT BIT#$ING, DON'T READ IF YOU WANT TO LECTURE ME!! OK so I got word from rhonda , the receptiontist from Dr. Ordoyne's office and she told me that " Oh Ashleigh I am really sorry to tell you that I haven't summited your papers to insurance yet, but I am doing that today" I SAID WHAT THE **** YOU ARE ******G KIDDING ME,,, she didnt seem to like that,,, I mean she was susposed to have summited those papers 2 , let me say it again 2 weeks ago,, she promised me and the doctor, the doctor personally went home tuesday night and wrote his letter so that RHONDA could summit to the insurance on wednesday sharp,, I am on a tight school schedule and the doctor was willing to work with me since I have to have it done by feb. 14th and be able to go back to school by then,,, WELL YES THATS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN NOW, AND I AM DROPPING OUT OF SCHOOL,, Of course she came up with some bullsheet excuse, like there wasnt a letter from the sleep study doctor ,, Which was BS b/c I personally made every nurse in that office hate me by riding their azz to get them to fax over everything by tuesday.. So I got the sleep study people to fax over the letter AGAIN. so if she hasnt summited it by the time I talk to her today, I MAY BE PICKED UP FOR HOMOCIDE. I am really upset that I now have to drop out of school and won't be able to start back til sept 07',,,, I can not wait that long to start back school,,,,,,,,, my dad is helping me pay my rent now and thats only b/c I am in school and he said I only get one shot and then he's not helping me ,, so I'm screwed... I am sooo dissapointed,, the Doctor even said a tentitive date and all,,,,,,, I can't wait to talk to him and tell him what happen. well anyhow, I will post later and let everyone know if I hear anything, that is if she actually summited it now.

Well I was there with you too, my nurse didnt submit mine for a while and had sort of same problems. Well they let that nurse go and hired some temps that worked their butts off and got me approved within one week. I was thrilled and scheduled for surgery the next week. Have faith. Maybe they can fax all that paperwork to your insurance and you can call your insurance company and tell them about the school and who knows, miracles do happen. Hi Ashleigh, I'm so sorry and I know that does not help at all. There's actually nothing I can do to help and nothing I say will make you any less disappointed. I do care, however, and please let me know if you want to talk or vent some more. If there's anything I can do to help you brain-storm solutions, I will do. hi ash, when i went thru this I personally faxed all the info myself to the insurance co. and i had a contact # to call insurance to make sure they recieved it, I would ask to speak to the MD his self and tell him the sitution, Sorry your having a rough time, rhonda

Hey ashleigh, I am feelikng you 100%! I was so excited last week thinking that I had finally found me a new doctor but now for some strange reason my medical records have not made it fromedly covington to b.R. Supposedly they were mailed out on last wed. Or thur. I have been calling Dr.Martin's nurse evedryday and still nothing. Who knows maybe they were not even mailed yet. Today I gave it a rest and did not even call the office. I was approved and that should have been the most difficult part. I'm not even sure if this doctor is willing to help me yet and if he isn't I need to look elsewhere. As of now I'm at a stand still and im not likin g it very much. Know what I mean? You need to keep being persistent. It will pay off. I'm sorry that you will be dropping out of school. School is something that I'm looking forward to in the future. Shhh, that's a secret dream of mine. Just keep ur head up and keep praying girl. I'll be thinking of you.

Thanks everyone for responding soooooooo nicely,, I am so upset and needed some support and you all were sooooo nice to give it,, I called her on Wednesday to make sure she got everything and summited it and she told me yes,, so I guess now im on the count down,, just have to keep my fingers crossed and prayers going,, I am not sure whats going to happen with school if I get approved b/c I know you have to recover a pretty good bit after so I May end up dropping out , which really disapoints me, it feels like I can't ever finish anything,, well I will keep yall updated!! I'm sorry for your troubles! Can you finish this semester and have your surgery in May after finals? I wouldn't drop out of school because of this - then you are letting them take something away from you that is all yours and only yours. Don't let them violate you by quitting school - even temporarily!!! Best, Vanessa

the other question I have for you is why would you have to wait 1 1/2 years to return? I have no words as to why she didn't turn it in.

Well to answer the questions yall asked,, my school only does the program once a year and the next time the class I am in comes around is next September,, so if I decide to drop out I will have to wait til next year to start,, it looks like I am going to be dropping out of school, which sucks but I can't turn down the oppurtunity if medicaid accepts it,, they don't do that all the time and if I wait to have the surgery when school is over in July, they May not approve it again then,, also I am already struggling soooooooooooooooo much doing my clincials in my state of health and at this weight that I need to get it done,, I dont know what to do and I hate to put blame on someone but it ****** me off when the doctor personally told me he wanted to help me out and he was soooooooo willing to help me out and said it would be no problem at all to get it done the first week in feb. And now this,, everyone talks sooooo great about rhonda and now people are like hmm I must of done something wrong , which isnt right,, but its weird b/c rhonda was amazing at first and then all of a sudden ,it now takes a act of congress to get her to return my calls,,,,,,,,,,,, I mean she didnt even call me and let me know I needed that letter , I had to call her after 2 weeks , I mean how much longer was she going to wait ,, well I dont know ,, I really need to get this surgery done and I am just going to have to face the consquences now of her actions,, trust me she will hear from me sooner or later,, wait til after my surgery and when I talk to the doctor.
