HIP HIP HOORAY

Hi ya'll....I'm so freaken excited!!!! I received my approval letter today in the mail from Medicaid. Talking about somebody jumping for joy and thanking God!!! Although the letter said date of 2/13/06, I really need it sooner because I have to go back to work. I've been off from work due to a MAJOR foot surgery on 10/26/05. I spoke with Rhonda and explained that I needed to go back to work and asked if I could please have it on the 30th and she said that she will check in to that and give me a call back. Once again prayers are going to be flying left and right around here for the 30th of Jan. to be the DAY!!! Also, I had a call from Kelli Smith today on my voice mail....she is approved also....go girl..... That would be so kool if we can have it the same day!!! Kelli is having some computer problems right now and couldn't post, so I hope she doesn't get upset that I'm telling ya'll the GOOD news!!! I'm not nervous yet.........yet that is, LOL. Hopefully I don't go before the surgery from anticipation!!! Okay, well now I"m going update my page.....woohoo, I'm so excited! Soon to be loser and loving it!!!! Christie

Christie, I am so happy for you. Your date will be here before you know it. I think I went a little before the surgery but think I may be back to normal now. Don't know what my family would say. Pass on my well wishes to Kelli too. I will pray that all goes well, take care. Jodi

Hi Chrissy.....I spoke to Kelli last night and she said that she was replying to a message of yours and that is when she started having some pc problems. She wanted me to pass that on to you. She should be able to post this afternoon!

I called Rhonda yesterday. And Kelli did too. Rhonda asked that i fax her my paper that i got from medicaid so i did that last night. She said she had to find out if the surgery could be sooner than what she had told medicaid. On the approval letter it said the surgery is approved for 2/13 but i told rhonda i had to be back to work for the 13th of Feb. So she said we'll see there should be a problem. About Kelli.......St Tammany can't do her surgery due to weight limits, but Rhonda told her that they will see what can be done. So please keep her in your prayers!!!!!

Sooo..happy for you girl..It sounds like a long, drawn out process you have been going thru..prayers and good thoughts being sent your way..
