Welcome and I'm so glad you came out of lurkerdom. Dr. Ordoyne and his staff are the best and I know that whatever he can do to help you he will. I read your profile and trust me I know every word you are saying. I've walked in those footsteps. I raised my son by myself until he was 11 and then I met the man I married. He is a wonderful husband and father. He overlooked my weight and found the inside. You have all of us at your disposal to help you through this journey. You will get through it. Good morning Diane. Thanks for responding. yes i know that things will be looking up real soon. I spoke to Rhonda Dr.O's nurse on Thursday and she said that on Wednesday she sent my letter to medicaid. Woohoo! I can't wait because I beleive that will be be the biggest obstacle for me. Just keep prayng for me. She did tell me though that Dr.O wilkl have to refer me to another surgeon because the hospital there cannot accomodate me. She was very nice about it just as the doctor was with his honesty. If you know of any hospital that higher weight limits please let me know. I am researching myself but two heads are always better than one. I must admut though, I was really looking forward to working with Dr.O. He made me feel so very comfortable. Oh and thanks for acknowledging my son. I love being a Mom! Talk too you later.

I remember reading Freddy T's profile when I first came online. He was over 500 (if I recall correctly and if not I apologize). But I believe he had his surgery in the east. If I can do anything at all to help you I will. I was 458 lbs when I had surgery. At least thats what my scale said. I had been at that weight for 18 months. I know that this will happen for you. I pray a lot especially to St. Jude. I believe he helps and stands by us in times of trouble. good luck and you can always find me around somewhere Diane

Hey Diane it's me again. I really appreciate your support and feedback. I was just talking to my best friend in Kansas about you guys. I told her to go to this sight because there are lot's of wonderful people here. You being one of them. She also is a member of the "BIG GIRL CLUB" heehee. She is interested in the wls but she's not sure if they will cover it through her insurance. Just having her as a member of my suppoprt team as well as you guys, will be a great help to me. HEY DIANE, I HAVEN'T HEARD FROM YOU IN A WHILE. I HOPE ALL IS WELL WITH YOU. HOW'S YUR JOURNEY BEEN GOING AS A "LOSER"? WELL I'M SURE YOU'VE READ BY NOW THAT I WAS APPROVED FOR WLS. WOOHOO! I'M SO EXCITED! ONE PROBLEM THOUGH IS THE PROBLEM WITH ST.TAMMANY HOSPITAL. I COULD OF HAD MY SURGERY AS EARLY AS JANUARY 30TH. I WILL NOT GET DISCOURAGED THOUGH BECAUSE I BELEIVE THIS WILL REALLY HAPPEN FOR ME. ON YESTERDAY I CONTACTED VISTA HOSPITAL AND SOMEONE FROM DR.LOUIS MARTIN'S OFFICE CALLED ME BACK. THE LADY'S NAME IS ANNA LUNDBERG. SHE'S SO NICE. JUST TALKING TO HER ON THE PHONE REALLY LIFTED LIFTED MY SPIRITS. TODAY HER AND RHONDA FROM DR.ORDOYNE'S OFFICE SPOKE AND RHONDA IS MAILING ALL OF MY PAPER WORK TO DR.MARTIN. I HOPE AND PRAY THAT HE CAN HELP ME.
