Hi.. I'm new here. I'm not sure what "rules" there are for posting. I have a profile (I think..lol) that explains how far along I am in the process. I love that there is a board to come to where others are experiencing a lot of the same or similar things.

Welcome to the board, Lin! I'm from Lake Charles and my dad worked 26 years at Fort Polk, so I think I understand your current neck of the woods. The rules for posting are below the preview for your post. It's pretty general -- cussing, X-rayed, attacking, human sacrifice -- the usual manners. There's a great bunch of people with a wide variety of experiences here, so ask us anything and make yourself at home. Onward! Frances

Hi Lin, Welcome to this wonderful site. I just read your profile and I hope all goes well for you. I just had my surgery 4 weeks ago today. Although I have been on a stall for the last two I can honestly say this has been a miracle for me. I lost 23 lbs the first 2 weeks but I have also lost 11 3/4 inches. I am considered a light weight. I only had about 80 lbs to lose. So I am on my way. I hope you feel welcome to this board and will be looking forward to seeing you post..... JC
