Going back to work...

After being off for almost 3 years I am going to re-enter the work force. As a half hearted joke with a friend of mine I will be starting on Monday. Around the holidays a friend of mine was telling me about a girl she works with would be leaving for maternity leave and they needed a temp. I told I'll do it!!! Half joking, well she called me on Wednesday and told me she talked with her supervisor and they wanted me to go to a temporary agency and apply. I did that on Thursday still in a fog. I filled out the application talked with them. They set me up for a typing, data entry, and several other tests that afternoon. After it was all said and done, they said they would call me when the girl went out of leave. Well, I got the call yesterday I start on Monday. It is only going to be 3 days a week so that won/t be bad. I guess this will determine wheather I really want to enter the job market again.

I think I will enjoy it. It will only be for about 8 weeks. My husband and I are on our way out to look at new cars, I may need to find a full time job just to finance a new vehicle. Gosh they are so expensive.... Hope you have a great weekend!!!! JC
