Needing some Info

Hey Can anyone tell me how Voc Rehab works in Lousisana? I am in the process of moving to Lousisana (Wiser LA) and I was working with Voc Rehab here in MS. I was waiting ona surgury date. How does it work in Lousisana? Do I have to live there for a certain amonut of time before Voc Reahb would consider me?? How many doctors actually take Voc rehab? Thanks for all ur help. Joyce

I think Frances may be more familiar with Voc Rehab. I know that the service is available, but that's all I know... I may also be going through Voc Rehab if my current job doesn't allow me the surgery for this summer. So I would love the info too Kat

Oh, and on the TX board there's a voc rehab WORKER named Jackie... she told me she was ordering the info on the Louisiana rules too, when my situation came to her attention. It sounded like it was a federal program and she could administer for any state, so you might want to talk to her. Kat
