Found a Medicaid Psych in BR

Dr. Chalasani in Baton Rouge takes Medicaid. They do the pre op WLS eval. I called today and left a message. A few hours later someone called me back and I have an appt tomorrow. Just wanted to share this info with people on medicaid!!!

Well...I just came back from seeing this doctor. She is just a regular PCP. She did say that she approves of the surgery and that was basically it. Now I'm going to find another real psych to do the eval. Dr. Kongara is another name that was given to me. I'm waiting on my dr to submit a referral to their office and then I'll make the appt. I'll keep ya'll posted!
