Tina, I was wondering where you were. I am glad to hear you are doing good. I know what you mean about the weeks that you lose and ones that you stall. Mine is a stall week this week too. But I have to admit I have been bad about my eating this week too. I hope you have a MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A WONDFUL NEW YEAR!!!!!!!! Take Care, Chrissy 226/168/125

83 and counting, The key to it is exercise I walk at least a mile a day and try for five miles but not all at one time. Do you you have a pedometer. It counts your steps for you and on an average day of just bumming around the house you can walk a mile I shoot for at least three miles and try really hard to get in five miles. If I go grocery shopping and do some running around it is easy to get in five miles a day. My doctor wants me to walk at least 10,000 steps a day and that averages out to four miles. Get the pedometer and you will be surprised how much walking you can do when you are keeping up with it. My day consist of a slice of cheese toast for breakfast around seven. Use the cheddar cheese 2% it is less fating. Then around nine I have an Unjury protein shake. At noon I eat a Michelina's Lean Gourmet make sure you add salt they have none. Then around two another protein shake. Then around five I have something different every night. Maybe a piece of grilled chicken, or a half of a hamburger patty with a slice of the cheese and purple onion the onion really gives some flavor. I don't do breads at all empty calories and very little pasta unless its one of the lean gourmet ones. Then around seven I have another protein shake. The shakes help me from getting hungry and snacking. And if I want a snack it is cheese, Kraft makes a one oz individual serving. They are also made with 2% milk. One of them has 7grams of protein, 6grams of fat and no sugar, and only 90 calories. I snack on them a lot. I think the key to it is the protein because it helps to hold on to your muscle mass and muscle will eat the fat if you keep it. My doctor was very impressed with my muscle mass the last time I went and the protein is the key to that. Check everything you eat and make sure it is high in protein, eggs, cheese and meat are the best way to go. Hope this helps some. There are other things I eat but these are the main ones. The Michaelina's Lean Gourmet Meals are high in protein the roasted turkey has 18 grams alone. The doctor wants me to get 85grams of protein a day and I get about 110. He said that is good the more the better. But 40lbs in six weeks is good so your doing fine just with what your doing. But walking is the key. I think you live close to me don't you? We could meet at North Park in Denham Springs and walk together if you want. They have a track that I go walk sometimes I just don't like doing it by myself. But now that I've dropped 83lbs I love the walking because I can before I couldn't walk a mile without needing a nap now I can walk three before I even get tired. Let me know soon and we will do some exercise together. I have a home gym and your more than welcome to come use it. Just let me know. Tina 336/253/145

Tina , Im so impressed!!!!!!!!!! way to go! yes, i would like to go walk with you at north park sometime, right now i have a bad cold, so I've been walking on my treadmill. Thanx for all the info on your diet. I can't do chicken unless its in soup, it won't go down, our Dr. doesn't want us to eat chicken for 2 more weeks. You are right about the protein, if i don't drink it, i get more hungry. The only drink i like is isopure chocolate, low carb. I drink it in skim milk in the morning, it has 50grams of protein, then i eat a stallone pudding, 20grams afternoon. Other than that i eat alot of soups, (i make) or beans, i have ate potato, but try to stay away from it . have you found yogart that does not have alot of sugar, it seems all has sugar, no matter, if low fat, low carb... write soon. way to go!!!!! rhonda 293/251/125

Sounds like your doing good with protein. I don't like yogurt at all so I don't bother with it. I do mostly Cheese.
