Have an appt with Dr. Ordoyne

Hey everyone.....first of all i want to say Merry Christmas! I'm very excited! I went to Dr. Ordoynes seminar monday night and i have an appt with them tuesday the 27th. I know it should be covered by Medicaid because of my medical conditions. Now it will be just to find a psych that takes Medicaid. If anyone knows of one around the Baton Rouge area, please let me know!!! I'm waiting to get my page spruced up so i can keep updates on it! Happy Holidays and Happy New Year Christie

I'm so very excited for you. I'm so glad I got to meet you and your adorable son on Monday night. I'm sorry you couldn't stay for the meeting with us. I would suggest talking to some of the people at LSU. I have a number (I'll have to get it later and put it up). She would be in Kenner, but I had the impression she might take Medicaid when I saw her. Diane

Hey Dee...... I found out today that there is a doctor in Baton Rouge named Nick Campo, ph # 387-0851. He does the evals for the surgery. His office is closed today, but I'm going to try back on Monday. Another doctor that takes MCD is Lalitha Chalasani ph 225-490-3415. So hopefully I'll get that taken care of and then be on my way to being a LOSER....

Christie, congrats!! I'm so thrilled someone finally found a doc that takes medicaid... where does he do surgery? Do they take the medicaid too? SO many have been trying to find someone that does since Katrina rearranged the docs... I'm thrilled for you! I'm in Denham too, well when I'm not working down in New Orleans.... where in Denham are you? I'm just over by Juban road off Florida.. Kat

Kat, This is the doctor who did my surgery - he uses St. Tammany Parish Hospital. He is also the dr that Ashley mentioned last month. He is a wonderful dr and he will do a great job on any of his patients.

Ohhh I thought Ashley was doing self pay with that doc... that's wonderful! I'm so excited for you all!!! Speaking of which, how are you feeling now? How's the "Loser's bench" feel?

I'm not sure what Ashley is doing. Mine wasn't through Medicaid, but I had heard he took it. I'm doing good...protein absolutely sucks, but I've taken a liking to gladiator smoothies. I've lost 42 lbs so far. Merry Christmas to you and yours Diane

Hey Kat....i didn't know that u were in Denham too. I'm off Hwy 16 by Vincent Road. I'm not too far from U. If U go down Juban to Hwy 16 and turn Rt...I'm right down the road from there.
