Well I had my surgery on 11-17th. The morning of the surgery I had lost 10.5 pounds from the liquid diet for the previous week. When I went back to have drain tube removed on 11-28th I had lost another 15.5 pounds. I went to my nutrition class and follow up doctors appointment on 12-9 and I had lost another 6 pounds. So in a months time I've lost a total of 32 pounds. I'm so excited. They also let me start having pureed foods. So I've been trying a few different things. But I really have to remind myself to eat. Does anyone have any food suggestions for pureed? Thanks Tina

hi Tina, Great job with your weight loss!!!!! as far as pureed foods, the nutrition class should have gave you ideas, because every Dr. is different, I went from clear liquids ( broths, jello, popcicles), to full liquids (cream soup, pudding, yogurt), pureed to me would be soft foods. But ask your nutrition class; our group got a callender with specific foods each week. Good luck!!!!! Rhonda 293/258/125?

Congradulations Tina on the weight loss, you are doing great. I am the same with Rhonda when my doctor put me on soft foods, so you will have to find out from your doc what you are allowed to have. Good luck to you and keep in touch. denise 250/219/150
