good morning

hope everyone is doing well. this has been a long year for all in louisiana.I'm 3 weeks post op 33 lbs down. Doing well. I hope everyone that wishes to have the surgery , gets their wish!!! I watched a show last night where a 16 year old got to have surgery, and the surgery center paid for it. He lost 170lbs. I was almost in tears.I knew what it was like to be an overweight teen. He hopefully knows how blessed he is to have this surgery available for him. I feel this saves alot of folks. I know there are many possible complications, but its worth the risk. Hi Rhonda, I too, saw that show last night. He did a great job and you are too. I am on my way to the doctor this morning for all my last minute stuff. I still can't believe that this will take place on Monday. My 14 year old told me yesterday he was scared for me. Made me wonder if I am doing the right thing. I know I am but it still bothered me because he is scared. He said the surgery does not bother him it is me being put to sleep. He is actually my biggest supporter. Well, guess I will say goodbye you are doing great with your weightloss. I am proud of you. Take care JC

It certainly has been a long year for us. I am still sitting here in agony, waiting for a response... it's only been a week as of today but sheesh I can't hang on too much longer, I'm running out of fingernails!

thanx for your support, JC. if you've done your research, go for it. You will enjoy your life so much more with your son. I wish this would have been available when my kids were young, i would have done alot more with them. Kat, maybe it being a week, means they are not giving you a fast no. maybe a yes. I hope so. I watched that show too! I was amazed at how great he had done at only 16! He was a cutie too...LoL shhhh Anyways, I was so happy for him and I was rooting for him the whole show! At the end it said he lost about 20 more pounds putting him a 228lb. At 6'2 thats perfect for him. I want to see his pictures now since his surgery was almost 2 years ago. But I cant find any on the web anywhere. I hope that one day that will be me , a success story.
